Student travel awards
We are accepting applications for student travel awards to attend the 2024 GERS meeting. Travel awards of up to $300 will be offered to students (graduate and undergraduate) to help defray the costs associated with travel and participation in the GERS meeting.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a student travel award, you must:
- Be a current GERS member
- Be a current graduate or undergraduate student
- Submit or plan to submit an abstract
Preference will be given to students who have not received awards previously.

Student Travel Award Applications are due Aug 31, 2024.
To renew your GERS membership, please visit https://gers.wildapricot.org/join. Membership dues are $30 per year ($20 per year for students) and can be paid by credit card or PayPal account. Memberships run on a calendar year basis (Jan 1-Dec 31).
 GERS is an affiliate society of the Coastal Estuarine Research Federation (CERF). CERF members receive great benefits, including access to an international job board and tools for early career scientists to become leaders in their fields.
