GERS Past President Ruth Carmichael with Best Student Presentation winners from the 2012 GERS meeting.
GERS membership provides access to a society of persons interested in estuarine and coastal research on our shared Gulf Coast. One of GERS' most visible functions is the biennial meeting featuring oral and poster research presentations, social events, a banquet, and often field trips.
For students, GERS membership provides opportunities to participate in and present at GERS meetings, and is a prerequisite to apply for travel grants to CERF and GERS meetings.
Memberships are valid for the calendar year in which purchased.
